Contempoary design update, addition, and remodel to a 1960’s split level Hood River Oregon residence, co-designed with Mark Vanderzanden. The owners could appreciate the original style of their home, and simultaniously wanted a newness. Vertical wood screens, larger glass fenestration, squared soffits and aluminum handrail augment the lines, horizontality and spectacular Gorge views of the existing home.
