A new 17-unit apartment building with ground floor retail is proposed to replace a long-neglected vacant lot along a busy commercial corridor in NE Portland. The building's form is a direct translation of the city's long-held design guidelines for storefront commercial districts reimagined in a contemporary way with modern materials and finishes.
